Our Story
Located in the heart of Dowerin, Dowerin Gourmet Butcher Shop (DGBS) has proudly served the Wheatbelt community since opening its doors in May 2013. Founded with a passion for quality and local produce, our mission has always been to provide - wherever possible - locally sourced lamb, beef and pork.
But we’re more than just meat! Instore you’ll also find a wide range of Western Australian and Australian pantry essentials, including salad dressings, seasonings, biscuits, breads and bakery treats.

Brent Walsh, the owner and butcher of DGBS, brings over 45 years of experience in the meat industry. His expertise shines through in the range of handcrafted products made in-store, including our own bacon and ham, flavoured sausages, rolled roasts and much more.
